Cooling off and coming together: REV supports Rehfeld village festival with an ice cream truck

On June 1, the Rehfeld village festival returned in full summer spirit—sunny skies, great company, and a strong sense of community. REV joined in by sponsoring the on-site ice cream truck, serving up cool treats for kids and adults alike.

One of the day’s highlights was the youth fire brigade competition, with teams from surrounding villages showing off their firefighting skills in a series of dynamic drills. Organized by the Rehfeld Volunteer Fire Department, the event was a true display of teamwork and dedication. Congratulations to the Rehfeld youth team on a well-earned win!

The festival wrapped up with a symbolic gesture of thanks: REV presented a further donation to the Rehfeld Volunteer Fire Department in recognition of their support during the water cushion operations at the Rehfeld solar park by the railway in May 2025. It’s one more way we’re helping strengthen local resilience—and celebrating the power of community.
