Ensuring Fire Safety at Rehfeld: Mobile Water Depot Ready for the Solar Park
Rehfeld, 14–15 May 2025 – In collaboration with the Rehfeld Volunteer Fire Brigade, re.venture successfully installed and filled a mobile firewater depot at the future solar park site. This solution supports preventive fire protection and fulfils a key requirement of the building permit.
Safety Through Technology and Teamwork
As the local well was unable to provide the required firewater flow rate (24 m³/h), a flexible storage system was deployed: high-capacity mobile water tanks. Filling the system required precise coordination – starting with one tank, then supplying the second via a connecting pipe, and finally using the well to apply pressure once again. Technical planning and close teamwork were the foundation of the successful outcome.
Fire Brigade as a Key Partner
The Rehfeld Volunteer Fire Brigade, led by local fire chief Remo Gebhardt, played a vital role in the operation. On 15 May, the district fire authorities carried out the official inspection – with a consistently positive result: the fire protection concept is now fully implemented.
Sustainable. Regional. Rehfeld.
This milestone was accompanied by local representative Mr Bönisch, Mr Kickhäfer from the association Gemeinsames Rehfelde.V., and members of the re.venture project team. The project stands as a prime example of how modern energy solutions, fire protection, and local collaboration can go hand in hand – paving the way for a secure and sustainable energy future.
